Getting a Pet? Where to get one? Well, here in Metro Manila, one might say, "Go to Cartimar!" or to Tiendesitas! Before trying one of those, better check first those places if the dogs or cats being sold are healthy. I've watched a video on Youtube where this girl got her first pet at Cartimar. A couple of days her dog got sick, having colds, fever, loosing appetite and so fort. So they decided to have it checked by a Veterinarian. Sadly, the dog was infected by a viral disease which is Distemper. It affects gastrointestinal, respiratory and central nervous system in dogs. Dogs get it through other animals even objects, airborne exposure, as well as through the placenta (from mothers). I could say it's hard to get a pet.
